How to reprint your exam slip (free, 6 steps)

  1. 1 Go to the reprint portalOpen slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/main-examination in any browser — phone, laptop or business centre PC. This is the exact link JAMB publishes on jamb.gov.ng under "2026 UTME SLIP PRINTING".
  2. 2 Pick the right slipThe portal is split into Main Examination, Mock Examination and Mop-Up Examination. Choose Main Examination — that is the slip for the real UTME, and the only one printable right now.
  3. 3 Enter your detailsType your JAMB registration number, or the email address or phone number you registered with. Any one of the three works.
  4. 4 Generate — no PIN neededClick "Generate Examination Slip". No scratch card, PIN or payment is required for this step; the reprint is free.
  5. 5 Check your centre, date and timeConfirm your CBT centre, exam date and session/time, and seat number are correct before you leave the page.
  6. 6 Download and printSave it as a PDF and print at least one clear, readable copy. You can reprint as many times as you need.

Is JAMB reprint open right now?

Yes — as of 31 August 2026, 2026 UTME main exam slip reprinting is open. You can generate and print your slip free at slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/main-examination today. The Mock and Mop-Up printing windows are closed.

So if you sat the 2026 UTME and need your slip again — for your own records, a school, or an admission process asking for proof of your exam details — you can still get it, and you should still not pay anyone for it.

How we checked, 31 August 2026: we read the printing-window status the portal itself reports for each slip type, and confirmed JAMB still links the portal from jamb.gov.ng under “2026 UTME SLIP PRINTING”. We re-check on every update to this page — if the window closes, this box will say so.

What about the 2027 UTME? JAMB had not published 2027 dates as of 31 August 2026, so no confirmed 2027 reprint date exists yet — be sceptical of any site quoting one. Going by recent cycles, registration runs January to February and the exam holds in April, with reprinting opening roughly a week before the exam window. Bookmark this page; we will update it when JAMB announces the real dates.

What's on the reprinted slip — and why you need it

You cannot enter the CBT exam hall without a printed slip. The reprinted slip shows:

Mock slip vs main slip: the mock slip (from JAMB's CBT practice test) can show a different centre from your main exam. Always reprint and check your main exam slip separately — don't assume it matches the mock.

Scam warning

Reprinting your exam slip is free. Never pay a cybercafé operator, agent or "JAMB helper" a fee for this — the portal only asks for your registration number, email or phone number. If anyone demands payment to "reprint" your slip, they are scamming you.

Frequently asked questions

Is reprinting my JAMB exam slip free?

Yes. Reprinting your UTME examination slip at slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng is completely free. You only need your registration number or the email/phone number used to register — never pay a cybercafé operator or agent for this.

Is the JAMB reprint portal open right now?

Yes. As of 31 August 2026, the Main Examination printing window at slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng is open, so you can still reprint your 2026 UTME exam slip free. The Mock and Mop-Up printing windows are closed. We re-check the portal every time we update this page — the status box near the top always carries the date we last checked.

My JAMB reprint link opens a blank page. What is wrong?

JAMB rebuilt the slip portal, and older links such as slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/PrintExaminationSlip no longer match any page in the new portal, so they can load blank or error. Use slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/main-examination instead — that is the link JAMB itself publishes on jamb.gov.ng. Many older guides still show the retired address.

When does JAMB reprint slip printing start?

Reprinting for the 2026 UTME cycle opened around 9 April 2026, roughly a week before the main exam (16–25 April 2026). Each cycle follows a similar pattern — the portal opens about a week before that year's exam window. Watch JAMB's official announcements as your exam period approaches.

Can I still print my 2026 mop-up exam slip?

No. The 2026 mop-up UTME held on Saturday 13 June 2026 and its slip-printing window, which opened on 6 June 2026, is now closed. JAMB described the mop-up as the final phase of the 2026 UTME. Only the Main Examination slip is printable now.

When will the reprint portal matter again, for the 2027 UTME?

JAMB had not published 2027 UTME dates as of 31 August 2026, so nobody can give you a confirmed 2027 reprint date yet — treat any site quoting one as guesswork. In recent cycles registration ran from January to February and the exam held in April, with slip reprinting opening about a week before the exam window. We will update this page once JAMB announces the real dates.

What does the reprinted slip show?

Your CBT centre name and address, exam date, session/time, seat number, and your passport photograph and registration details — everything the exam hall needs to verify you.

What is the difference between the mock slip and the main exam slip?

The mock slip is for JAMB's optional CBT mock/practice test (held 28 March 2026 for the 2026 cycle) and may show a different centre from your main exam. The main slip is the one that matters for the actual UTME. They are separate sections of the portal — Main Examination and Mock Examination — so always generate and check the main slip separately, even if you already have a mock slip.

My slip is not showing. What do I do?

Double-check you are entering the exact registration number or the email/phone number tied to your JAMB profile — small typos are the most common cause. If it still fails, try a different browser or device, or visit an accredited JAMB CBT centre for help.

I forgot the email I registered with — can I still reprint my slip?
